What is Dysport®?
Dysport®, like Botox® and Jeuveau®, is another neuromodulator. It is dosed differently than other neurotoxins because of the way it is manufactured. It temporarily improves the look of your moderate to severe frown lines. It does so without changing the look of your whole face.
What Is DYSPORT® (DY-SPORT)?
Dysport® is a frequently used Toxin for adult men and women, starting at age 25, that can help you reverse the natural aging process so you can have younger-looking skin. Dysport® also called a bobotulinum toxin type A, is injected into the desired muscles of the face through a small needle. Dysport® decreases minimal to moderate wrinkles by preventing the release of acetylcholine, a chemical that is produced in your skin and leads to the development of relaxation of muscles in turn decreases wrinkles forming on the skin.

Is Dysport Right for Me?
Adult men and women can safely receive Dysport®. It is a great and effective option if you have wrinkles on your face, particularly on your forehead, near your eyes, mouth or lips, or other lines, including crow’s feet or neck bands. If you also experience excessive sweating, migraine headaches, tense shoulder blades, and other medical conditions; Dysport® can also help treat those medical symptoms.
How is Dysport® Given?
The target areas are first marked with a marking pencil and cleaned with antiseptic. Our experienced Injectors place the Dysport® injections into the muscles located in these areas, causing the muscles to relax. This results in a reduction in the appearance of these lines and wrinkles and smoother, more voluminous skin.
What is Recovery Like After Dysport®?
Avoiding laying down for 4 hours after receiving a Dysport® treatment is recommended. This is to help with recovery and ensure that your results are long-lasting. After a treatment session, you can go home immediately and resume normal daily activities, but it is important to mention that you might experience some side effects. These may include minimal pain and discomfort in the treatment area(s), nausea, headaches, or generalized flu-like symptoms. Your symptoms can vary and will typically resolve within a few days.
